Cater Express signs up to the Climate Pledge

114 businesses have accepted the challenge

The Climate Pledge is turning the climate crisis into climate action, reaching the goals of the Paris Agreement 10 years early.

The pledge:

Measure and report greenhouse gas emissions on a regular basis;

Implement decarbonization strategies in line with the Paris Agreement through real business changes and innovations, including efficiency improvements, renewable energy, materials reductions, and other carbon emission elimination strategies;

Neutralize any remaining emissions with additional, quantifiable, real, permanent, and socially-beneficial offsets to achieve net zero annual carbon emissions by 2040.

Cater Express is proud to ensure that we are committed to this pledge and to take actions within our company operations to reduce waste, carbon emissions, and plastic use.

In conjunction with our commitment to reducing our Carbon Emissions, Cater Express has signed up to the UK Plastics Pact.

Wrap promotes and encourages sustainable resource use through product design, waste minimisation, re-use, recycling and reprocessing of waste materials.

They work across six continents with governments, businesses and citizens to create a world where resources are sourced and used sustainably.
