As part of our CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) policy, Cater Express is delighted to sponsor The under 12's Shinfield Rangers Football Club.

Shinfield Rangers Football Club is one of Berkshire’s oldest established children’s football clubs, set up in 1972. It is one of the best football clubs in Berkshire and, as a Charter Standard Community Club, at the pinnacle of grassroots football.

They pride themselves on providing a safe, fun and educational environment for all ages from 4 years old through to adult football.

The club ethos is simple – they want all children that join the club to have a great time during football training, during competitive matches and at other social events they put on throughout the year at their Millworth Lane headquarters. They don’t believe in the ‘win at all costs’ philosophy – although winning is fun – they want to promote the concepts of discipline, team-work and learning. If they pass on these three ideas successfully – the winning comes naturally. Shinfield Rangers is also keen to help the children to develop firm friendships with their peers who they might not necessarily see at school every day – this is crucial to a child’s social development.
